The Gallery Church of New York is an SBC church plant that meets in the heart of Manhattan. The Gallery was launched by Aaron Coe and a team of people in 2006 in partnership with the North American Mission Board’s strategic focus initiative, “New Hope New York”. In June of 2010, Freddy T. Wyatt transitioned into the Lead Pastor role at the Gallery while Aaron Coe began a church planting initiative called SendNYC. Several different partnering churches have helped the Gallery hit the ground running and several are currently partnering to help us move toward healthy self-sustainability. Would you prayerfully consider leading your church to partner with us?
In 2008, Freddy T. and his family moved to NYC for him to serve as Teaching Pastor in the church plant. A month after moving to Manhattan, Susan Wyatt gave birth to twins.
Since then, the Wyatt’s have been on the fast track, learning how to live as a family of five in the hyper-urban context of Manhattan. Before moving to New York City, Freddy T. and Susan helped to start a church in New Brunswick, NJ in 2004 and Freddy T. had most recently served for 3 years as a Preaching Pastor at First Baptist Church of Clarksville, TN.
Join God, as He is at work in amazing ways in and through the Gallery Church. The leadership of the Gallery Church share a conviction that New York City, home to over 22+ million people and over 800 spoken languages, is the most strategic place on the planet to plant churches. The Gallery is passionately and contextually making disciples of Jesus Christ with a wide diversity of New Yorkers. With your help, we could see an unprecedented church planting movement among the nations in NYC!
